TG Bears News

Wow, don’t the weeks just fly by. It is time to introduce our next business. Today I am going to tell you about Dawn of Bugs & Bubbles Soap Company.

Bugs & Bubbles Soap Company provides soaps that are handcrafted and made of natural products, many even Vegan friendly. But we all know that natural is good for us, but what makes Dawn’s soaps so unique?

Well, of course, the bugs in them. You can get a soap bar that contains a bug, a butterfly, a lizard, a snake or a frog. Well how much easier will it be to get your child to wash themselves (with soap) when that action will get that critter out in time?

But other family members are also catered for. Dawn offers a beautiful shaving set for the man in your life which, along with the handmade soap, comes with a shaving mug and brush.

There are beautiful soaps for Valentine’s day, my personal favorite being the soap bouquet. What an extraordinary idea to make soap roses and arrange them in a bouquet.

Bugs & Bubbles will be represented at the Oscar Nominees Gift Lounge in February. That is such an exciting event for any small business.

Dawn has a wonderful array of soaps, lotions and salts in her shop. They go from fun stuff to gift sets and she offers the service of sending the gift set with a label for you. I am also thrilled to note that she is active as a small business that gives back to the community and supports local programs.

Browse Dawn’s interesting website which boasts a member’s area and pictures of her products. What a shame that the computer monitor does not have a scratch and smell spot.

This week’s “Introduce a Business” feature spotlights Kanine Knits. Peggy is the lady behind this interesting business. When entering her site, I could not believe the talent that I saw.

Kanine Knits Sweater

How about this sweater that has the dog on it? Peggy designs knitting patterns that focus on dog breeds and more recently on cats too. She has created over 100 knitting patterns in her Portraits of Dogs Collection.

Kanine Knits Sweaters

Peggy’s patterns are divided into books, of which she has done seven, each book dealing with a specific breed. The book gives the user information about the dog and what they do and then transforms these activities into knitting charts. So if you are a knitter and you love dogs, here is just the ideal thing for you (or of course your friend).

Nothing says anything better about someone than a video. I have included a short video here of Peggy’s TV appearance on Pet Talk. Enjoy!

Today I want to introduce to you Jennifer of BellaGrey Designs - which was named after her children Isabella "Bella" and Greyson "Grey".

She uses a very appropriate slogan for her shop – IMAGINATION Inspiration Celebration. And her shop is just that. She offers an affordable solution to the celebration dilemmas you may have when hosting a party.

Now what do you think of this table? No guessing that this is a party table for a little boy who loves football. The Custom Football Collection contains labels, pennant toppers, notes, cupcakes toppers, bottle labels and a banner. But Jennifer has a great selection of items for little girls too. I love these Custom Spring Cupcake Toppers.

Jennifer does not only provide party goods for children, she has two lovely Valentine’s Day items - just right to set your heart aflutter. Follow the link and see what I mean. And then of course, there is the unlimited range of custom designs. She will gladly work with you to create a design just right for your occasion.

You can connect with Jennifer at the links provided below. She is on Facebook where you will find a very engaging page and lots of photos that will inspire any kind of party you can think of.

During my journey as an entrepreneur in the handmade/artisan arena, I have met so many other people in fields so different to teddy bears and those that I don’t know much about, that I decided to start a series to introduce some of these people and the excellence of what they do.

Aromatic Health

Today I am pleased to introduce Michelle Reynolds of Aromatic Health. Michelle is a CAHP with 15 years of experience. So now what are the first things that aromatherapy triggered in your mind? I am sure, like in mine, you thought soaps and candles.

But Michelle tells us on her website at Aromatic Health that aromatherapy is so much more than that. Head over to her About Us page and read the very informative write-up on What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatic Health

Not only does Michelle do consultations on how to treat different ailments (in conjunction with your medical care practitioner), but she also blends formulas for products to assist the body in healing itself from certain ailments. Michelle creates these products on order and takes specifics into account when doing so. A visit to her shop is well worth your time.

Aromatic Health

You can connect with Michelle at the links provided below. She is on Facebook and on Twitter and hosts a Twitter chat at 9PM (EDT) every Monday night using the tag #EOTherapy.
